§ 22-31. Codes adopted.

The South Carolina Building Codes Council and the City of Anderson have mandated the adoption of the following International Building Code Series 2015:

• International Building Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Residential Code 2015 (one- and two-family dwellings), including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Plumbing Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Mechanical Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Fuel Gas Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Energy Conservation Code 2009, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Fire Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• National Electrical Code 2014, including 2006 ICC Administrative Provisions.

• International Property Maintenance Code 2015, including Chapter 1, Administration.

• International Existing Building Code 2015, including Chapter 1 Administration.

• Modifications to specific sections of the above codes as lawfully authorized by the South Carolina Codes Council.

The various codes enumerated and listed above, as well as the supplemental clarifications and additions, are hereby adopted by reference as though copied and included herein fully.

The building board of adjustment and appeals shall hear all appeals involving enforcement of all codes adopted herein.
