§ 26-130. Identification for pawn or sales transactions.

(a)

Each person is required to prove identification by having in his possession and showing to the pawnbroker a valid driver's license or a state highway department identification card at the time of all pawn or sales transactions. No such transaction shall take place without this required identification.

(b)

Acceptance by the pawnbroker of a transaction without the proper identification shall be a fineable offense up to $200.00 per transaction.
