§ 46-3. Cutting wires in case of fire.

  • In case of fire, the chief of the fire department or any other person authorized by him is hereby authorized to cut any telegraph, telephone, power or other wires without expense to the city for so doing. Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to imply that the city authorizes any person to undertake the personal risk of cutting any of such wires or to render the city liable for any injury to the person so doing.
