§ 50-43. Jurisdiction.

The provisions of this article shall apply to all lands within the jurisdiction of City of Anderson, and those municipalities which, by approval of SCDHEC and by written agreement executed with City of Anderson, contract to have these provisions administered within their corporate limits. All lands under the jurisdiction of another entity with the power of eminent domain are exempt from the provisions of this article.

The floodplain management provisions of this article shall apply to all special flood hazard areas within the jurisdiction of City of Anderson as identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in its most recent flood insurance study with accompanying maps and other supporting data that are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this article.
