§ 10-2. Sale, possession or consumption in public places.

(a)

It is hereby declared illegal and unlawful for any person to sell, publicly possess or consume any alcoholic beverage in any city park, recreation area, city-owned building or other similar city-owned facilities except as provided herein.

(b)

Except as provided herein, the sale, possession or consumption of any alcoholic beverage on city-owned property as described in subsection (a) of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as provided in section 1-14.
