§ 2-67. Special meetings.

  • The mayor or a majority of the councilmembers shall call a special meeting of the city council when, in the mayor's or councilmembers' judgment, the interests of the public may require it. Calls for special meetings of the council shall set forth the objects or purposes for which such meetings are called, and no other business than that set forth in such call shall be transacted at such special meeting, except by unanimous consent of the council.
